OUR STORY

Eugene-2.jpg

Unbroken Fit Vet was started by Marine Corps combat veteran, Eugene Neal. Over the last 23 years, Eugene has dedicated himself to physical fitness, training, nutrition, and education within the fitness field. His unique journey, background, and Master's Degree in education has resulted in decades of helping clients overcome personal obstacles and achieving their goals.

The Unbroken story begins back in Iraq in 2004. Eugene suffered a gunshot wound overseas that changed the trajectory of his life. While recovering, he discovered that the devastating effects of a serious physical injury has a mental component as well. In order to achieve success, it takes a balanced approach and attention to all areas of life.

Through his recovery, the fitness world mentored him, challenged his perceptions, broadened his perspectives and helped him successfully rehab his knee. In addition to overcoming physical challenges, Eugene realized fitness assisted in overcoming the mental toll of war as well. Like many service members, Eugene lost a staggering number of friends both overseas and back home. Unbroken Fit Vet was created for Veterans with a passion for fitness and a servants heart who want to overcome their obstacles together, to push through the hardships of this world as a team, while training to be the best fitness professionals in the industry.

Unbroken Fit Vet is all about rising from the ashes. We know what it's like to start from the bottom. Because we've been there, we know how to get to where you want to be. Our purpose is to use our knowledge and experience to help others do the same. The world beats us up and tries to break us. We can choose to be better, to overcome adversity. We can be UNBROKEN!
